Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, and Pretzel Cookies

Ingredients

  • 250g Margarine
  • 1 3/4 cups Brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Eggs, at room temperature
  • 3 cups Self-raising flour
  • 3/4 cup a2 Milk® Full Cream
  • 1/4 cup Smooth peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Dark chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups Pretzels, roughly crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan-forced (200°C conventional). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  2. Add the margarine and brown sugar to a large mixing bowl. Cream with electric beaters until well combined, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add the peanut butter and a2 Milk® Full Cream. Mix until combined.
  5. Add the flour and salt. Stir until just combined — do not overmix.
  6. Fold through the chocolate chips and crushed pretzels.
  7. Roll 2 tablespoon portions of dough into balls and place on prepared trays, leaving 5cm between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden around the edges but still slightly soft in the centre.
  9. Allow to cool on trays for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
