This creamy, delicious full cream milk contains less than 4 g of fat per 100 mL and can be enjoyed by the whole family*.
a2 Milk® Full Cream comes from cows specially selected to naturally produce milk with only the A2-type protein. Many people say they can feel the difference.
*Cow’s milk should not be given as the main drink to infants under 12 months.
It all starts with the cows. We conduct a simple DNA test on a tissue sample taken from the cows to identify cows that naturally produce milk with only A2-type beta-casein protein and no A1 protein. Every batch is then tested again before it reaches your fridge, so you can feel confident in what you're drinking.
The result? Milk that may be easier on digestion for some people*, with all the goodness of natural dairy milk.
Full cream milk, also called full fat milk, is cow's milk that hasn’t had any fat removed. It contains a higher fat percentage compared to skim or low-fat milk, contributing to its smooth, creamy taste and texture.
Full cream milk is a whole food. Other types of milk is processed to remove its fat content, but full cream milk contains the same amount as is found in simple, original cow's milk. a2 Milk® Full Cream milk contains less than 4g of fat per 100ml fat which gives it a richer, creamier texture than light and no-fat milk. All types of milk contain essential nutrients, but in different amounts. Full cream milk is richest in fats and energy.
Although it is commonly assumed that gastrointestinal symptoms experienced after consuming ordinary milk are due to lactose intolerance, lactose might not be the cause of some people’s digestive discomfort. In fact, scientific studies in China, the USA, and New Zealand have shown that some people who have difficulty drinking milk may experience less symptoms of digestive discomfort after switching to milk that contains only A2-type protein, and no A1 protein. If you’re able to enjoy a2 Milk® Full Cream without experiencing symptoms of digestive discomfort, then there is no need to switch to the lactose free range. Make sure you speak to a healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet. But what about consumers who would prefer, or have been medically advised, to follow a lactose free or low lactose diet? We don’t want anyone to miss out. So we offer an a2 Milk® Lactose Free range for the delicious taste of a2 Milk® with no lactose.
