Diwali Rose Chia Milk

A creamy and festive rose milk made with a2 Milk®, chia seeds and rose syrup, edible rose petals and pistachios.

Diwali Rose Chia Milk
Difficulty: Easy
Prep time: 20 mins
Cooking time: No cooking
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chilled a2 Milk® Full Cream Milk
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 6 tablespoons warm water
  • 4–5 tablespoons rose syrup, plus extra for decorating the glasses
  • 2 tablespoons edible dried rose petals
  • 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios
  • Ice cubes, optional

Directions

  1. Prepare the chia seeds. Mix the chia seeds with the warm water and leave them to soak for around 10–15 minutes, until soft and gel-like.
  2. Make the rose milk. Pour the chilled a2 Milk® into a jug. Add the rose syrup and stir until evenly combined and beautifully pink.
  3. Add the chia. Stir the soaked chia seeds through the rose milk.
  4. Create the rose swirl. Drizzle a little rose syrup around the inside of four clear serving glasses, letting it naturally run down the sides.
  5. Pour. Add a few ice cubes if desired, then pour the rose chia milk into each glass.
  6. Garnish. Finish with edible rose petals and crushed pistachios.
  7. Serve immediately. Serve chilled and enjoy as a creamy, floral Diwali treat.
