Lunar New Year Milk Pudding

Ingredients

  • 500ml a2 Milk® Lactose Free Full Cream
  • 50g Caster Sugar
  • 50g Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Desiccated coconut
  • Orange rind

Directions

  1. Add half the milk into a pot and mix in the sugar until well combined.
  2. Add the remainder of the milk to a bowl with the cornstarch, mix until combined.
  3. Turn the pot with milk and sugar to medium-low. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the milk is heated. Ensure that it does not start simmering.
  4. Mix the cornstarch mixture whilst slowly pouring it into the pot. Stir until it becomes a thick consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baking paper lined container, and let it set in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
  6. Cut into bite-sized pieces and coat with the desiccated coconut.
  7. Garnish with a sliver of orange rind to finish.
