Maple Matcha Bubble Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 cup a2 Milk® Lactose Free Full Cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp Matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup Hot water
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup, or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla syrup
  • 1/4 cup Instant tapioca pearls
  • 1/2 cup Ice cubes

Directions

  1. Prepare instant tapioca pearls according to packet instructions. Once cooked, strain and soak in 2 tbsp maple syrup while you prepare the rest of the drink.
  2. In a small bowl, add the hot water and matcha powder. Whisk until smooth with no lumps.
  3. Add the remaining 1 tbsp maple syrup and vanilla syrup to the matcha mixture. Stir to combine.
  4. Heat the a2 Milk® Lactose Free Full Cream in a saucepan until it just starts to bubble. Remove from heat and froth using a handheld milk frother.
  5. Add the tapioca pearls and ice to a tall glass. Pour in the matcha mixture, then top with frothed milk.
  6. Stir gently and serve immediately.
