Peanut butter overnight oats

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup a2 Milk® Full Cream
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp Natural salted peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats

Optional Toppings

  • Sliced banana
  • Fresh strawberries or raspberries
  • Flaxseed meal
  • Additional chia seeds
  • Granola

Directions

  1. Add the a2 Milk® Full Cream, chia seeds, peanut butter, and maple syrup to a mason jar or small bowl with a lid.
  2. Stir with a spoon to combine. The peanut butter doesn't need to be completely mixed through.
  3. Add the rolled oats and stir a few more times. Press down with a spoon to ensure all oats are moistened and fully immersed in the milk.
  4. Cover securely with a lid or seal. Place in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 6 hours, to soak.
  5. The following morning, enjoy as is or top with your favourite toppings.

Tips:

  • Storage: Overnight oats will keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, although they are best served within 12-24 hours.
  • Not freezer friendly.
  • Topping ideas: Sliced banana, fresh berries, flaxseed meal, extra chia seeds, or granola.
