Strawberry Matcha Mornings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Fresh strawberries, hulled 
  • 1–2 tsp Maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste) 
  • 3/4 cup a2 Milk® Full Cream (cold)   
  • 1 tsp Matcha powder 
  • 1/4 cup Hot water (about 70°C) 
  • Ice cubes (optional, for iced version)

Directions

Make the Strawberry Purée

  1. Blend the strawberries with maple syrup until smooth. 
  2. Optional: strain to remove seeds for a smoother texture. 
  3. Pour the purée into the bottom of your glass. 
  4. Slowly pour a2 Milk® Full Cream over the strawberry layer. 

Prepare the Matcha

  1. Sift the matcha powder 
  2. Whisk matcha powder with hot water until frothy 
  3. Pour the matcha over the milk layer. 

Serve

  1. Add ice if making it iced. 
  2. Garnish with a strawberry slice or a sprinkle of matcha powder if desired.
  3. Enjoy
